Reaching Capri

Ferries and hydrofoils from Naples to Capri leave from two piers: Molo Beverello and the Mergellina harbour. |

Molo Beverello is the closest to the airport and to the Napoli Centrale station. It can be reached from the Capodichino airport by taxi (cost about 20 Euro) or by bus (ALIBUS). The bus is operated by ANM. It takes about 20-25 minutes to reach Molo Beverello peer. From the Napoli Centrale station, Molo Beverello can be reached by taxi, bus or tram. The bus (R2) or tram (1) leave from Piazza Garibaldi (the square facing the station) and arrives to Piazza Municipio square. Molo Beverello is at walking distance (~100 meters) from Piazza Municipio. Mergellina harbour is within walking distance (less than 10 minutes) from the Mergellina Railway Station. Capri island is served by ferries and hydrofoils departing from the two harbours. The arrival is always at the Marina Grande harbour in Capri. It is more convenient to depart from Molo Beverello which has a larger selection of ferries and hydrofoils.The ferry takes about 80 minutes and costs about 6 EUR.
